Become an Edge Gain Associate/Trainer

We are looking for new Edge Gain Associates to join our network of exceptional, experienced, talented teachers and trainers to help us deliver Professional Development of the highest quality. We provide professional development for a variety of clients, both in-person and virtually.

We are Adobe’s premium training partner for education.

Who are Edge Gain Associates?

All our Edge Gain Associates are all experience expert educators who teach creative digital skills in the classroom using a variety of tools including:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud apps: Express, Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, InDesign, Acrobat, Character Animator and Substance.

  • AutoDesk 3DS Max, AutoDesk AutoCad, Canvas LMS, Cinema 4D, CuBase, Garage Band, Logic Pro, Unity, Swift, Procreate.

Our teachers and trainer are located across the globe and teach in schools, colleges and Universities.

How to become an Edge Gain Associate

  • Firstly, we ask you to complete this form. We’ll then get in touch and meet you online and let you know a bit more about being an Edge Gain Associate.

  • Yes. We pay our teachers and trainers for every session they deliver. We’ll confirm the hourly rate with you by email.

  • No! There is no obligation to commit to delivering our training sessions. You can choose what works for your own schedule.

  • No! You can opt for virtual sessions only.

  • Edge Gain Associates who deliver in-person training must provide and be responsible for their own travel insurance and public liability insurance.

  • We have a separate expenses policy. Once you’ve been confirmed as a trainer for an in-person session we’ll confirm the expenses covered for your trip. We’ll cover your travel, any accommodation and food subject to the Edge Gain Expenses Policy.

  • You are paid as a contractor and we ask you to send us an invoice within 7 days of completing your session. You’ll need to include your bank details, home address and details of the training session you delivered. We’ll send you details of how to invoice once you’ve signed up as an Edge Gain Associate.

  • We’ll provide you with a slide deck for your session. For some sessions you may need to provide some project examples you’ve used in the classroom.

  • We appreciate that you may already work for other PD partners and vendors. We ask that you let us know if you are, or have been working for a competitor PD partner or vendor. All our Edge Gain Associates sign an agreement which includes a non-disclosure agreement.

  • We can’t guarantee you will be given sessions to deliver but we do endeavour to share out the opportunities as they come in.

  • We want all our Edge Gain Associates to be qualified teachers or experienced trainers. You should have experience of teaching in a classroom. Most of our workshops are aimed at teachers, so experience of teaching teachers, admin or faculty is an advantage.
